Vitamin D3 is a fat soluble vitamin produced naturally by the body in response to sunlight. In this product the Vitamin D3 is in a vegetable capsule. Vitamin D3 is the preferred form and has been found to produce greater storage of vitamin D in the body than D2. Vitamin D is required for the normal function of the immune system, for the absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus and contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.
